I had never really thought about it before, I said yes! I remember this day, I was in my early 20s and my boss at the time was asking me. He said you can tell a lot about a person if they are an adventurous eater. I agree with this.
Since being asked this question, it has become an important question that I ask others. I think it really helps you learn about a person. It became an integral part of getting to know people. It is a fun question to ask.
I like to try new food. I like to try different food. I even like to try food that some might get squeamish at. I believe food helps you understand people and cultures and how go through life.
Is the person adventurous or are they very timid?
Is the person more routine or do they like to sometimes go a different direction?
Is the person someone who will go to a new State, Country, or Area and try the local food or will they stick with what they know.?
Taking a LEAP to try new food can be a way to start a new adventure. It can be a way to start going in a different direction. and help create more excitement in life.
In my business and coaching practice, I help people explore and help them take LEAPS. Many people are afraid of change and helping them overcome a fear sometimes starts with trying something new to eat. It is an easy thing to do and does not take a huge investment.
If you are looking to start taking a LEAP, I encourage you to start with what you eat. Start exploring new foods.
If you already consider yourself an adventurous eater, think of a small change you can make, adding a new spice or more of a spice, to add a bigger flavor to move you to a new LEAP!
Food is fun and can lead you to so many wonderful places and experiences. LNeEAP into change and try some things.
