Happy Tuesday,

This week, I want to talk about what it really means to be unstoppable. Not the Instagram version with the perfect morning routine and color-coded planner. The real version.

For me, unstoppable looks like focused days built around my top four goals—usually 2-3 business objectives and 1-2 personal ones. It means carving out time to fuel my mind and body, whether that’s meditation, a workout, or simply sitting in silence with my coffee before the world wakes up. But here’s what I’m learning: none of that matters if you’re not leading yourself first. And leading yourself starts with knowing your values.

This week, I found myself biting my tongue more times than I care to admit. I’m navigating misalignment with business partners across different ventures, and it’s been… uncomfortable. Picture this: your website has a payment issue. People want to join, want to pay you, and they can’t. To me, that’s a drop-everything-and-fix-it-now situation. Even if it’s Saturday night. Even if it’s inconvenient. Excellence is one of my core values, and so is experience. If our customers aren’t getting the best experience, we have a problem that needs solving immediately.

But not everyone shares that urgency. And that’s where the misalignment becomes crystal clear.

So what do you do when you realize you’re out of sync with the people you’re building with?

Here’s what I’d tell a client (and what I’m telling myself): Start with awareness. I call it the Awareness Journal. Every time you feel that misalignment—that moment where you bite your tongue, where your stomach drops, where you think “this isn’t right”—write it down. Document the situation, the feeling, the specific value that’s being compromised.

Don’t skip this step. We can’t solve what we don’t acknowledge.

Once you have clarity on the pattern, it’s time to create impact without creating casualties. Craft your message—whether it’s an email or a video—that’s pointed but not punishing. Then get everyone in the room. A real conversation. A Zoom at minimum. Because here’s the truth: clarity doesn’t happen in Slack messages or passive-aggressive email threads. It happens when people show up, face-to-face (or screen-to-screen), and commit to having the hard conversation.

Now I’m curious: What are your steps when you face misalignment? How do you navigate these moments? Reply and let me know—I’d genuinely love to hear your approach.

Speaking of leadership and communication…

This week’s Unstoppable Success podcast couldn’t be more timely. I sat down with two incredible leaders who tackle these exact challenges from different angles.

First, Cash Flow Mike shares how he transformed from state trooper to serial entrepreneur by learning to bridge the financial gap in business. But beyond the numbers, Mike’s story is about building genuine partnerships and understanding that success isn’t just about making sales—it’s about managing the flow that sustains everything. His journey reminds us that even the most successful entrepreneurs face setbacks, and learning from those experiences is what sets unstoppable leaders apart. Then Michael de Lisser drops truth bombs about why so many executives derail: poor communication skills. As he points out, your technical expertise alone cannot sustain your career. You must cultivate the interpersonal skills to inspire and motivate your teams. Michael’s insights on self-awareness, embracing difficult conversations, and using technology responsibly (without letting it replace genuine human connection) are essential listening for any leader navigating today’s challenges. Both conversations reinforce what I’m grappling with this week: leadership is learned, and we are always learning to be better. The hard conversations, the misalignments, the moments we bite our tongues—they’re all part of becoming the leaders our teams and partners need us to be.

So grab your Awareness Journal. Listen to these episodes. And let’s keep learning together.

Here’s to leading yourself first,

Jaclyn
